Here is my first vintage find in Texas, this nifty vintage planter from Japan. It has a handle, that I forgot to photograph. If it had a lid it might have been a biscuit jar. Who knows?
I am blessed to be able to put my favorite chair by a sunny window again. This time it is a southern window, so it always has light.
This is my first house plant. All of our others I gave away, because they would have frozen on the way to Texas.
Here is my sewing box table by my chair too. Mom gave me this cheerful embroidered antimacassar for Christmas. It is the perfect size for this spot.
Did you notice the crocheting and sewing going on? More colors, colors, colors! I cannot wait to show you the crocheted banner I am making for Little Miss. It is almost done.
This block is hanging on the wall next to this window. It is either "Ohio Blossom", or "Ohio Bloom". We did it in quilt class, and I simply love it. It is nice and large.
I made it nice and thin to use as a table scarf to give to Mom. It is too perfect for our place, so I will simply have to make something else for her. She's not online, so she'll never know. I am so sneaky. Just wait, now my sister will tell her, and when I call next week Mom will go, "So I hear you put my quilt block on your wall." Don't do that Sis, or I will keep the thing I made you too, hah!
Love the planter. You are certainly keeping busy!
