We have a galley kitchen at our new place. If that is new to you think of it as a walk through kitchen blocked off on one end. This Vintage Irish Linen Kitchen Towel is hanging on that end wall. It is fabulous! I came across a whole stash of vintage kitchen towels that have not been washed yet. They are huge until they are washed, and then they are normal sized. Most of them even have their stickers.
Hubby said it is a "Peep Show", because they are all watching her take a bath. Men!
It makes me smile every time I go in the kitchen.
Imagine how delighted I was to find these little fellows at the flea market this morning.
There were different stalls with tropical birds, some were nicer than others. Most were very happy, clean, and healthy birds I am glad to say.
Who knew you could get birds outside in the United States?
The flea market was fun, but we will probably not go back. I was looking for old stuff, and most of it was new. These are the only treasures we brought home except for some cheap girl bling.
A Blue Willow creamer and sugar, from Japan, I think. They are only the second vintage find I have discovered here in Texas. What is the other one you ask. You will just have to wait and see. Our break after trekking the flea market is almost over, and we are off again. Adventure awaits! Well, at least physical therapy, and good Mexican food do.
Have a Happy Saturday!
Ah, but you still have not gone to Canton. :) That will be the 31st through the 3rd...will have to check with my sisters. They usually go and find a plethora of treasures. :)

DeleteOkay, I pulled up the website, and I am incredibly excited. The suspense!
DeleteThat vintage kitchen towel is fabulous! Peep Show, I love it. There is a current sew-along on 15 Minutes Play for a quilt created around a printed kitchen towel like that.
ReplyDeleteCute kitchen towel!! I think flea markets in general are no longer about old things but cheap new things. Ugh!
ReplyDeleteCute towel! Such vintagy art!
ReplyDeleteI love your PEEP show towel. So cute and cheerful. Can't wait to hear about your adventures.
