ONE WEEK COUNTDOWN!
If we leave on time we should be crossing the Wisconsin border in EXACTLY one week from this very minute.
Packing is going very well. "Janesville Jack" came and hauled away our lumber and junk. Good bye broken freezer!
Hubby's computer equipment is even packed away. Not having racks and desks full of black electronics is kind of nice. I need to think of a way to lighten that area up in the apartment.
Yes, an apartment. Did I mention that we are downsizing. It's a good thing! No mowing or house repairs for a year. It will almost be like a vacation.
I already picked up a new shower curtain, so that we could be clean right away. Finding some vintage containers for toiletries to match is going to be a blast. Anybody remember our pretty pink bathroom? No more! In Dallas we are going to have colors, colors, and more colors!
I already found a barbecue joint famous for its ribs to congratulate Hubby on his exciting new job.
And, and, and .... I'm so excited, I could EXPLODE!
As you should be! This is going to be quite the adventure. And the beginning of all sorts of new opportunities! :-)
