Blue and White Embroidery Inspiration for the September Stitch Along

My September Stitch Along Piece for the New Embroidery with Vintage Patterns Group is finished.  Here it is with one of the vintage blue and white plates that decorates our yellow kitchen.  It is by Oxford, a Brazilian company.
I finally decided to use the Fly Stitch.  It came to my attention when I was checking out the Embroidery Section on About.com.  Personal blog pages, and thread companies are my favorite online places to get embroidery information, but this was pretty handy.
Now all I have to do is applique it to one of those yellow check towels I am making for the kitchen.  Only two left to go, and I will have a full set custom made just for us.

    1. Hey, we're only talking about embroidery here. NONE of us want to get "personal". ;)
