With the weather extremes we have been having this summer I feel I should have a party to celebrate a perfect summer day today. It is simply beautiful.
There is a sweet breeze coming in the window while I have tea and keep working through lunchtime.
Our roses are still alive thanks to the daily watering our teenage son gives them. He brought these blooms in for me this morning.
This is the contemporary teacup that Hubby gave me for Christmas and an Arthur Wood & Son teapot from Mom filled with Cotillion Rose Oolong Tea.
A perfect day.
How sweet that your son keeps the roses watered. I thought of you today on this much more temperate summer day, as I was out in my flower bed cutting the irises back and enjoying that nice breeze. I will be ready to dig some of them out in a couple weeks.
