Muffins, Moonstone & Victoria Magazine

Even a commonplace little raisin muffin is a thing of beauty.  Especially when you make them with someone you love, for someone you love, or get them from someone you love.

When baking them fills your home with a comforting aroma.

Even when you are enjoying being alone.

Particularly when you can take a moment to take time for tea.
I might love my little Moonstone Bowl a bit too much, but she really is that wonderful.  See, even Victoria Magazine thinks so.  Using berry bowls for berries, imagine that.  I use berry bowls for all sorts of things, but I don't believe berries have been in them yet.

Muffins, lots of muffins.
More Moonstone, or is the cake stand Fenton?  Those ripples sure look like Fenton to me.

This is a newer issue of Victoria.  I cannot believe I did not make a note of which issue.  I'll just have to go through them to find this article again.  Lucky me.
Did you notice my latest Johnson Brothers creamer?  She is such a fine lady.

Does she look familiar?  See if you can spot her cousin below.
This photo was blogged in 2009.  I still have the Corelle creamer, even though it is the one the kids get to use.  The JB Nordic is holding dry erase markers.  The HLC Greek Key has a new home, and I dropped the Noritake Lineage.

We'll have to see how my "new" Classic White does.  Maybe she'll be in Victoria Magazine next!
Let's go see more pretty vintage goodies at Vintage Thingie Thursday.  What a wonderful way to spend a tea break.

  3. Finally...I figured how to get to your blog! So many changes going on! I remember seeing that issue. Thought it looked scrumptiuos, and the dishes so pretty! Glad to hear about your ring too. In England colored stones are traditional.
