Look at what I found!
You think I am excited about this little glass creamer. As cute as it is, that is not it.
I had forgotten that I took this photo of one of the doilies I crocheted last autumn.
The Granny Squares with flower centers that I was working on for a shawl worked nicely in crochet thread for this little piece.
Here is the whole doily. I think Grandma would be proud. She crocheted long after her sight went. Don't ask me how.
It has rounded corners that I designed on my own. It seemed a shame to just have plain corners on it.
Oh, don't worry about that little glass creamer. She is going to show up in the shop one of these days. Until then I am going to give her lots of attention trying to figure out who she is.
My, this is so pretty. I love the variegated colors in there! You are just so talented!

Very sweet -- love that flower in the middle. I'll have to go thru my granny square patterns and see if I can find one similar! I hope you find the info on the cute little creamer -- she definitely needs a name!
ReplyDeleteWow! those wool colors go so beautifully together, they are my favorite colors. I also adore your embroidered orange cloth with the pink flowers, it is so stunning and inspiring. I've been wanting to make a little cell phone pouch for my mom's new Tracfone phone, it's an LG800G touch screen prepaid phone, ($49.99), it's gorgeous so you don't want the screen to break or scratch. your orange embroidered cloth has inspired me to make an orange felt pouch with embroidered pink and yellow flowers on, it'll look stunning and then some sequins scattered around for a bit of bling, as dazzle is the fashion amongst the girls.
ReplyDeleteThat doily screams spring. What yummy, sherbetty colors.
