A 1950's Tea Time

A Vintage Tea Cup that is another of my three random tea cups from Hubby.  I took a moment to make a nice tea tray for myself in the middle of a hectic day.

This tea cup was made in Japan in the 50's.  Thinking about the so-called perfect hostess' of the 50's was inspiring for an afternoon of cleaning.
This dish is part of the Moonstone line by Anchor Hocking back in the 50's.  Hmm, no wonder I like them together.  It is their berry or dessert bowl, how perfect.

The lovely little cookies were made by, you guessed it, Mom.  She and I traded.  She made cookies for a party I had to bring treats to, and I sewed up a bag for her to use as a birthday gift for a friend.  I do not know the name, but they are a buttery cookie that literally melts in your mouth.  She was so sweet, that she made an extra dozen just for us.

Everybody needs a little break.  Make sure YOU take one today.
