A Turnip with a Bowtie for Japan Relief

The light for photos was not so great yesterday, but I cannot wait to share Sabine's embroidery for the "EmbroideredVeggie Market Quilt for Japan Relief" Project any longer.  This fellow is fabulous!
Sabine lives in Belgium, so our project is officially "international".
If you like quilting, embroidery, and completely adorable cats, you should head on over to Cats & Quilts, Sabine's blog.
I am especially enamored with the wee little blue and white dishes that he is tossing about.
His embroidered face expresses how I feel about all of the wonderful contributions for this group project.  YOU are all just so wonderful!

  3. Oh wow, what a nice post! I've been away from blogland so long, due to a long lasting project for work.
Happy to see my turnip arriving safe and sound at your place!
I'm very, very curious to see the result, and will be doing a blogpost about your project soon.

  4. Sabine makes beautiful creations and her embroidery is top notch. She did a killer job on this sweet animation. What a wonderful quilt this is going to be--
