Here is a wee little shamrock for this blustery March day. Blustery is an understatement. If these little fellows were outside they would have been blown into the next county by now.
Does anybody know if there is a reason why there would be apples and shamrocks together? Do they grow apples in Ireland?
These were made by Weisley, which is a "new to me" company. The detail of these little painted apples is amazing.
They're in the shop. I think they add a bit of whimsy to it!
If anybody has photos of more Weisley pieces to share, that would be wonderful.

These are really cute!!! Never heard of Weisley either.
ReplyDeleteI guess the apples and shamrocks are together because they can be! :) ♥
ReplyDeleteJust because they can, I love it!
ReplyDeleteI think apples grow in Ireland - the southern part is quite temperate.....or maybe the painter had just had "a drop taken" - as the Irish say. (...and being more Irish than anything else - I can say that!)
ReplyDeleteThese are so charming and special.
Just looked it up. LOTS of apples in Ireland!
ReplyDeleteAha, they DO have apples!
